I prefer grocery shopping here over our other grocery store. Veggies and meats last longer and seem much better quality and much better selection. It is however always very crowded but I can see why.

Lots of high quality, store branded items. The store is clean with broad aisles and good organization. The only drawback is that there are fewer name brand products available at HEB. This isn't necessarily a real problem because they do have many of their own branded products but if you go there looking for a specific brand item they may not have it. This is true especially if you are looking at produce, milk, eggs, bacon, cheese, etc.

The staff are very friendly and helpful at the Lufkin HEB. Produce is fresh Great selection of food. Sure beats the gross HEB in Livingston and Cleveland. Appreciate the great rotisserie chicken selection. There were even enough checkers. Prices are expensive but, that's not their fault. They are high everywhere. Really do not like the app

Always nice to walk into an HEB store. This one is very good. Well stocked and everybody working there was busy. It is clean and has a good selection.

I’m looking forward to the Lufkin store refit but for now I especially love the bakery section at HEB. They have fresh tortillas ( and butter flavored too) and my favorite tres leches cakes! I can always swing in and get fresh salsa and guacamole! Thank you HEB for always having my comfort food ready for me 😋 …

I love our city HEB. it may not be as big as others, but the staff is always awesome and they still have better selection than other stores in town, and prices. Wish the powers that be would have given them more options for locations but look at them expanding and making it work. We love HEB

LOVE HEB. We try NOT to get our fruit from any other place. The meat selection is the best we have found so far. Their brand of cat litter is awesome (and inexpensive). It's the only brand we will buy.

This review is about the HEB "Texas Boil House" seafood stand in the front of the store on weekends. Today I visited this for the first time and was really impressed with the quality of the shrimp as well as the price. The young men out front boiling the seafood and greeting the customers were friendly and worked fast. The lead guy, Branson, was customer focused and personable. It looked like he took pride in his work. His coworker Derek did a great job getting us rang up and explaining the prices. They were also willing to ring up the plants that my wife picked up while we were outside waiting on our seafood. (The wait was only about 7 minutes.) The shrimp are big size, clean fresh and already deveined. (Check out the pictures). The crawfish, the shrimp, and the corn and potatoes are all nicely separated so you can buy poundage of all of the various items as you select. Not to mention, the area around the stand and the equipment were clean and nicely arranged. As someone that grew up near Galveston, seafood and the ocean run in my blood and bring back so many memories of my childhood and earlier days. This is so nice having this at my local HEB. I will be back!

H-E-B is honestly one of my favorite grocery stores overall. They have a huge selection, the stores are usually clean and organized, and it’s one of the few grocery chains where y’all can consistently find better ingredient options without spending a fortune. I especially like looking for the green check mark products since they tend to have cleaner ingredients and fewer unnecessary additives compared to a lot of other brands out there.

Best place to go grocery shopping in Angelina County. May not be the cheapest, but the customer service I receive will out weigh that any day! Their produce and meat are by far the best compared to other stores. Curbside is very convenient on busy days, and they’re very quick about getting groceries to your vehicle. This store is just great all around!
